Affilate Banners and Custom Linking Instructions

You may use any product photos on our site for your referral links or the banners provided at mTracker and below. The banners provided at mTracker all link to the home page of E&E Stained Glass Studio.

To use the pictures and banners on the website, right click on the picture and save the graphic to your computer, then insert the graphic into your webpage. Right click on the graphic and add your custom affiliate link and it's ready to go.

You will get better results on your referral sales if your affiliate link takes the customer to the actual product page of the item you are promoting instead of the home page. Below are instructions for creating your own links to individual product pages.

Instructions for building your own links:

Building your own links does take some basic knowledge of HTML, but can be easily mastered with a little practice. We do not assume responsibility for loss of commission due to improperly implemented affiliate links so be careful to ensure that your links are correctly formatted.

A sample affiliate link:

When you click on the above link, it takes you to the home page of our website through your affiliate link. To create links to specific pages or products on our website follow the instructions below, being careful to maintain the structure of the link.

The first portion of the URL will always remain the same. It is: http://ww9.aitsafe.com/go.htm&go=

The second portion is the page you are sending your customer to. To go to a page other than the home page on the website, you must use forward slashes. Replace all forward slashes in the URL with %2F to create the correct URL. If you were promoting the What's New page the next section would be: www.e-e-stainedglass.com%2Fwhats-new.html

Follow that with your affiliate ID: &afid=12345&tm=120&im=2 (replace the 12345 with your own affiliate ID number)

When you put all the pieces of the URL together, it will look like this:

http://ww9.aitsafe.com/go.htm?go=www.e-e-stainedglass.com%2Fwhats-new.html&afid=12345&tm=120&im=2

The above link will take your customer to the What's New page at E&E Stained Glass and record your affiliate referral. It can easily be changed by replacing the ww.e-e-stainedglass.com%2Fwhats-new.html with whatever product page your choose, i.e., for instance you choose to promote the filigree cross, your link would look like:

http://ww9.aitsafe.com/go.htm&go=www.e-e-stainedglass.com%2Ffiligree-cross.html&afid=12345&tm=120&im=2

Before taking your links live, make sure they work properly. You can check this by clicking on the link, then logging into your Admin area at http://ww9.aitsafe.com/mtracker/ and confirming a click-through.
